• Weekly Estimated Pay: $6,300 - $6,750 (competitive locum tenens pay)

• Setting: Hospital - OB/GYN Unit (labor & delivery, inpatient obstetrics)
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (travel/contract physician role)
• Shift: 12-hour rotating shifts (hospitalist OB/GYN coverage)
• Hours per Week: 36
• Duration: 13 weeks, with ongoing PRN and sporadic openings
• Start Date: May 4, 2026 (orientation/initial shifts July 10-12, 2026)

Minimum Qualifications / Job Requirements

• Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (required)
• Active Idaho medical license or active IMLC LOQ (required)
• Proof of COVID-19 vaccination (required)
• NPDB report (pulled within the last month)
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience as an OB/GYN physician (labor & delivery experience preferred)
• BLS certification (current)
• Up-to-date immunization records
• Ability to attend initial orientation and first shifts (July 10-12, 2026)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care for hospital inpatients and labor & delivery patients
• Manage labor and delivery, including routine and high-risk cases, triage, and perinatal emergencies
• Perform gynecologic surgeries and procedures (including C-sections and operative deliveries) as needed
• Collaborate closely with nursing staff, midwives, anesthesia, and other clinical teams to ensure coordinated patient care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient encounters in the electronic medical record
• Participate in orientation, handoffs, and ongoing clinical training as required
