Find your place on our team and help us change the world!Major Areas of AccountabilityProvide technical guidance to technicians and engineersTechnical expert for cooling systems (chillers, glycol chillers, cooling towers, process cooling water, water treatment)Technical expert for HVAC systems (FTU's, make-up air handler units, air flow patterns, cleanroom filters, DX units)Clear understanding of requirements behind sustaining a cleanroom (characterization, instrumentation, filters, and general materials)Technical expert for hot water systems (boilers), compressed air system, process vacuumTechnical expert for scrubbing systems and general exhaustResponsible for maintaining equipment in respective systems including coordination with contractors.Responsible for reviewing and ensuring preventative maintenance are completed to spec and to planned schedule. Responsible for system upkeep and implementing or modify PM's accordingly.Active lead in supporting department meetings, capital planning, and expense budgetingSPC monitoring in accordance with facilities specsLead process changes through process control board as neededRoot cause analysis on incidentsManage complex capital and expense projects, from concept to scope to timeline delivery and commissioning.Work within defined technical processes and proceduresInitiate and drive continuous improvements, strive for impactAbility to adapt and move quickly to accomplish goalsUphold area upkeep and 5S principlesAdhere to environmental health and safety policiesAbility to complete job hazard assessments alongside contractors and internal teamsCollaborate cross departmentally, escalate as requiredClear and effective communicationMaintenance and creation of standard operating proceduresAbility to train operations on SOPs and LOTODetail oriented record keeping and reportingShift: Monday through FridayRequired Qualifications:Education: 4 Year Technical degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent disciplineExperience: 5-8 years of work experienceSkills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office SuitePhysical Requirements:Ability to at times work in a cleanroom environmentAbility to work in a manufacturing setting that includes bending or crouchingDesired Qualifications:Proficiency in AutoCADSkyWater offers an exciting environment where the brightest semiconductor minds come together to achieve exceptional results.
