Company: Harley-Davidson Financial Services Job Title: Collections Representative II Location: Plano, Texas (Hybrid; fully remote within 1 hour of Plano) Employment Type: Full Time Start Date: Tuesday, September 8th (Training hours 9am-6pm CST Mon-Fri) Job Summary Under direct supervision, the Collections Representative is responsible for collecting delinquent accounts by phone or correspondence, using a computerized system for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting. The role involves answering basic inquiries or resolving problems by following routine procedures. Regular Hours Beginning In September 8am-5pm CST (4 shifts Monday–Friday) 10am-7pm CST (1 shift Monday–Friday) 8am-12pm CST every other Saturday Will work one half‑day during the week when working a Saturday Job Responsibilities Collect on assigned delinquent accounts by telephone or correspondence. Support dialer function through outbound manual dialer campaigns. Assign accounts to agencies for repossession, skip‑tracing, or in‑person collection when approved. Process and/or assign accounts to Adjustment Queue for payment re‑allocations and fee/balance waivers when applicable. Adhere to company collection policies, the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and confidentiality and privacy requirements. Use effective time management to ensure a satisfactory customer service experience that meets expectations. Ensure all steps necessary are taken to protect the company’s interests. Maintain protection of information and compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies. Education Requirements High School Diploma or GED required. Experience Requirements Minimum 2–3 years of recent collections experience. High‑speed hardwired internet access. Reside within 1-hour of Plano, TX. Adherence to high ethical standards of truthfulness, honesty, and fairness. Ability to prioritize workflow to meet department objectives. Proficient computer and keyboard skills with moderate speed and accuracy. Detail‑oriented, highly organized, with excellent written communication and professional verbal articulation. Critical thinking and negotiation skills for handling large volume of collection accounts. Team‑orientated and open to change. Self‑motivated, professional, with strong organizational and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work in a fast‑paced, time‑sensitive environment. Previous CBS call model experience preferred. Compensation Pay range: $18.70 – $28.13 per hour ($38,900 – $58,500 annually).
