Role Description The Life Insurance Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Columbus, GA. In this position, the specialist will consult with prospective and existing clients to assess their life insurance and financial protection needs, explain product options, and recommend suitable coverage. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include generating leads, conducting policy reviews, preparing quotes, completing applications, and following up to ensure client satisfaction and policy retention. The specialist will collaborate with the agency team to support marketing initiatives, cross‑sell relevant insurance products, and maintain accurate records in compliance with company and regulatory standards. This role also involves providing attentive customer service, handling inquiries and policy changes, and contributing to a positive, client‑focused office environment. Qualifications Strong proficiency in Insurance Sales and Sales, with a track record of meeting or exceeding performance goals. Background in Insurance and Finance, with the ability to explain coverage options and basic financial concepts clearly. Excellent Customer Service skills, including active listening, clear communication, and a client‑focused mindset. Ability to build rapport, handle objections professionally, and maintain long‑term client relationships. Relevant state insurance licensing for life insurance (or ability to obtain within a defined timeframe). Comfort with using CRM systems and standard office software to manage client information and sales activities. Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple client cases simultaneously. High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to compliance with regulatory and company policies.
