Austin Health Partners (Cedar Park Pediatric & Family Medicine OR Georgetown Pediatric & Family Medicine) is looking for experienced full time or part-time family nurse practitioners or physician assistants to join our growing team! Austin Health Partners is an independently-owned, physician-led pediatric and family medicine supergroup consisting of multiple care centers in the Austin area, including Cedar Park Pediatric & Family Medicine, Georgetown Pediatrics & Family Medicine, Treehouse Pediatrics, and Southwest Pediatric Associates, and more.

The compensation for this position includes a base annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, plus a production-based bonus.

This opportunity has the option of working at either of our two family medicine care centers:

Georgetown Pediatrics & Family Medicine: 4841 Williams Dr Bldg C Suite 105, Georgetown, TX 78633

Cedar Park Pediatric & Family Medicine: 345 Cypress Creek Rd Suite 104, Cedar Park, TX 78613

Essential Responsibilities

• Provides patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of the designated supervising staff physician
• Obtains medical and personal histories
• Performs initial examinations, including physical exams and patient observations
• Educates patients and families
• Prioritizes and assesses patients
• Provides primary care through wellness visits and assessment
• Same day urgent care visits
• Diagnosis and treatment of acute and chronic illnesses to a variety of patients
• Maintains standard universal precautions
• Prescribes medications and completes treatments according to office policies and within age-specific parameters.
• Maintains and completes all necessary patient record documentation
• Assists practice manager in clinical skills guidance and training for clinical staff.
• Other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

• Unrestricted active nurse practitioner or physician assistant Texas license
• 1 year FNP or PA out patient primary care work experience is required
• Demonstrated computer skills with EMR experience preferred
• DEA registration upon hiring

Expected Hours Of Work

• The care center hours are Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm and Saturday 8:00am - 12:00pm.
• Flexible full time or part time options: discuss your work availability during the interview process.
• This person will be in a split weekday call and Saturday in-clinic morning (8:00am - 12:00pm) rotation with other providers, not exceeding more than once a month.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. This job will require exposure to patient elements. Works near others, usually within a few feet. May work in a noisy or distracting environment. This role routinely uses standard office and medical equipment. Certain vaccinations are required of all clinic staff.
