Instructor Caregiver for Day Program – Valencia Job Title: Day Program Instructor Caregiver Hourly Rate: $18.00/hr Shifts: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM Status: Full-Time Location: Valencia, CA Redwood Family Care Network is an innovative leader in delivering person-centered home and community-based services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Assist clients with bathroom needs, undergarments and/or clothing as needed. Prepare daily meals and assist with cleanup. Support clients with daily living and vocational activities. Pickup/drop‑off clients in company vans from/to their home or facility when necessary. Participate in client assessment, planning and evaluation processes. Input client notes into computer programs, review IPP goals and communicate with supervisors as required. Attend regular staff meetings and participate in continuing education and training. Perform other related duties/assignments as required. Qualifications 1 year of experience preferred supporting adults with developmental disabilities. At least 21 years of age. Valid California driver’s license. Must successfully pass all pre‑employment requirements, including a background check. Direct Support Professional Certificate – Year 1 & Year 2 (preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire). Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) (preferred or willing to obtain within the first 6 months of hire). First Aid / CPR certification. Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions. Background Check All applicants are subject to a background check.
