Interconnection Engineer (CAISO)

Hybrid Role – 2 days a week in office. Boulder, CO based position. Ceres Greenhouse Solutions is a fast growing Boulder, CO based company. Our clients include residential, educational, large‑scale commercial agriculture and cannabis growers. We are seeking a qualified HVAC Controls Engineer/Technician with Tridium Niagara experience to support our rapid growth in precision environment control systems for agriculture grow facilities. The ideal candidate is a top performer, energetic, collaborative, and able to complete project deliverables on time and within budget. Job Responsibilities Ensure successful deployment and integration of building automation control systems. Collaborate with the team to develop standardized software and dashboards within the Niagara Tridium framework. Plan, document, and incorporate customer requirements for Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems. Design control systems based on project requirements or industry standards; document designs using Visio, CAD, Revit, and write/test programs with control system languages. Analyze, integrate, configure, and test building automation control systems per project specifications. Integrate and configure irrigation and fertigation systems for precise water and nutrient delivery. Provide effective customer support throughout system development phases. Train and educate customers in control system operations and deliver manuals/documentation as required. Participate in meetings with engineering and project teams to ensure quality designs and client requirements are met. Perform 25%‑50% travel within the U.S. and Canada. Essential Experience and Skills 7+ years of DDC design and implementation experience. Proficiency with Niagara Framework, SkySpark analytics, Reflow, Visio, CAD, MS Office, browsers, and HTML. Knowledge of HVAC equipment, DDC, and building management systems. Experience with lighting control systems in agriculture farming. Valid HVAC, Building Control Systems, and DDC Controls certifications. Strong ability to execute technical DDC BAS integration checkouts at project field locations. Total Compensation: US$95,000–US$110,000 annually (base pay and bonus). Relocation Package and work authorization sponsorship are NOT offered.
