As we continue to grow, we stay true to the roots of our company culture, creating and thriving in a relaxed, collaborative environment where the team works together to deliver what matters most to our clients, turning their project needs into sustainable, energy-efficient design solutions.Engineer PrioritiesAssist in the design of various mechanical systems for building construction projects under the supervision of Project LeadershipDevelop accurate designs/drawings that comply with all applicable codes and company drafting standards, practices, and proceduresAssist in the heating/cooling load calculations and building energy modelingPrepare technical reports, edit specifications, and undertake technical investigation studiesCoordinate internally with the mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design teamsParticipate in the QA/QC process, project time budgeting, milestone design review and inter-discipline cross-checkingCoordinate with Code Officials and provide code summaries for projectsCoordinate time and schedule to work on multiple projects concurrentlyParticipate in all scheduled team communication, meetings, and trainingsWhat You NeedPreferred: Bachelor's degree from an ABET Accredited College in Mechanical Engineering or related fieldMinimum 4 years of relevant work experience (beyond college curriculum) designing commercial and retail mechanical systems including HVAC air and piping/water systemsRelevant Work Experience using AutoCAD and Revit requiredKnowledge in MEP building/energy codes, and working with Utility Companies and Local MunicipalitiesHigh level of Personal Integrity, Professionalism and Honesty with one's own abilityExcellent critical thinking skills and desire to collaborate and take on challengesLicensures or certifications such as PE, EIT, CPDT, or CPD a plus!Why WNAOur firm continues to thrive in an ever-competitive industry where reputation matters.
