Middle School Elementary Speech Pathology - Taylorsville, NC

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active state license or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
• Experience working with elementary, middle, and high school students
• Skills in 1:1 therapy sessions as well as group sessions
• Ability to assess, diagnose, and write evidence-based intervention plans
• Familiarity with IEP processes and educational documentation
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Previous school-based SLP experience preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct screenings, evaluations, and diagnostics for speech and language disorders
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with student goals
• Work 1:1 with students as well as provide support in classroom or small group settings
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to IEP developments
• Consult with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student participation
• Maintain timely and accurate records, progress notes, and compliance with school and state guidelines
