What You'll Be Doing

Our technicians are true technicians—not just assistants. At RAWC, our techs are trusted, utilized, and encouraged to use their skills every day. If you're an experienced technician who wants to actually practice your technical skills and be an integral part of the medical team, this is the place for you.

We're looking for someone with a strong foundation in veterinary nursing and technical skills. Our ideal candidate will be comfortable with most of the skills below—but we don't expect you to walk through the door knowing everything.

Depending on your experience and skill level, you'll perform and assist with:

• Patient histories and assessments
• Venipuncture (jugular, cephalic & saphenous)
• IV catheter placement
• Cystocentesis
• Digital radiology
• Surgical assistance & anesthesia monitoring
• Laboratory diagnostics (CBC/Chemistry, UA, cytology, etc.)
• Medication & vaccine administration
• Drug calculations
• Emergency triage & patient care
• Client communication & education
• Medical records & SOAP notes
• General nursing care
• Stocking, cleaning & supporting hospital workflow

???? Can safely lift up to 50 pounds and appropriately restrain patients
???? Has solid computer and basic math skills

Schedule

Full-Time | 40 hours/week

• Four 10-hour shifts
• Typically 8:00 AM–6:00 PM
• Some schedule flexibility required
• NO WEEKENDS! ????

Pay

$20+/hour depending on experience, technical skills, and credentials.
