Executive DirectorA respected nonprofit legal services organization is seeking an Executive Director to lead its mission! This is an opportunity to guide an established organization, strengthen its operations and financial sustainability, and expand its impact throughout the region.The RoleThe Executive Director will:Set strategic priorities and translate them into measurable resultsLead, develop, and support a professional, mission-driven teamOversee operations, budgeting, grants, compliance, and organizational performanceStrengthen fundraising and relationships with donors, foundations, and community partnersBuild partnerships with courts, law firms, legal organizations, and service providersServe as the organization's primary community representativePartner with the Board on governance and long-term planningQualificationsJ.D. requiredAdmission to the South Dakota Bar or ability to become admitted within one yearAt least five years of legal practice or management experienceStrong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skillsCommitment to serving individuals with limited access to legal resourcesExperience with nonprofit leadership, legal services, fundraising, grants, or financial management is preferred.All inquiries are confidential.
