As a Global Supply Chain Program Manager – 3, you’ll be a linchpin in missions of paramount importance, defining the art of the possible from day one. This position is located in Promontory, UT. FT remote work is not available. As a Global Supply Chain Program Manager, you will be responsible and accountable for the strategy, planning, budget, and execution of all material and services content for a portfolio of programs.Responsibilities:Leads a team of Material Program Managers that are responsible to the Program Management Office (PMO) for the entire Global Supply Chain (GSC) organization and coordinates cross-functionally to ensure that supply chain commitments are metOversees Program Managers accountable to meet material budget requirements to support the PMO financial commitmentsAccountable for supply chain program execution including material budget, resource planning, forecasting, schedule performance, risk/opportunity management, supplier performance, and supply chain issue resolutionOversees and develops the material strategy for GSC in all phases of the Business Acquisition Process including leading the material estimating process and establishing and negotiating the budget with the PMO for responsible program portfolioEnsures that prior to program execution, all elements of the proposed program(s) plans have complete and accurate schedules, budgets, make/buy plans, and procurement and subcontracts strategiesEnsures mitigation plans are developed and executed to address any programmatic risks related to suppliers or supply chain executionOversee briefings to the PMO and executive management on program status and any necessary action plans to address issues affecting program supply chain cost and schedule performanceLeads team to drive initiatives to reduce cost and improve efficiencyWork cohesively with leaders in other disciplines such as engineering, operations, quality, and other personnel to manage material performance and ensure delivery of hardware to support production needs within budgetActs as the escalation path for the PMO to address issues in program execution related to the supply chainExpected Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years of experience in program management, project management, supply chain or related field – OR – Master’s degree with 6+ years of professional experiencePeople management experienceProven ability to lead, develop, and build a high performing team by providing clear direction, fostering collaboration, and ensuring accountability to objectivesPrior program or project management experience successfully executing budgets and schedules of significant scope and complexityAbility to work high level strategic initiatives that impact long-term business goals in addition to urgent requirements to support day-to-day operationsExperience and comfort level working and supporting Earned Value Management requirementsExperience implementing and executing material program plans to meet program objectivesExpertise in supporting complex proposals of significant valueSkilled in developing and implementing risk mitigation strategiesStrong interpersonal skills with an ability to communicate feedback in a manner that fosters collaboration, trust, and builds positive relationshipsAbility to mentor and motivate others to meet complex objectivesCompetence to work in an integrated team environment and influence changeSkilled and comfortable communicating and interfacing with high level leadershipKnowledge and experience in government contracting requirements and regulations (e.g. FAR, DFARS, ITAR, etc.)Skill set to work through others to influence change and drive objectivesAbility to travel up to 15% of the timePreferred Requirements:Master of Business AdministrationCapability to read technical drawings and documentsUnderstanding of hardware, material requirements, and critical suppliers for solid rocket motorsHigh Proficiency working with MRP/ERP systemsAbility to communicate complex technical information internal customersExperience and understanding FAR/DFAR provisions including the requirements necessary to maintain a government approved contractor approved purchasing system (CPSR)Ability to communicate complex technical information to internal and external customersPrimary Level Salary Range: $151,500.00 - $227,300.00The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
