Responsibilities Independently assess, diagnose, and treat patients within the full scope of practice as an Autonomous Nurse Practitioner (NP) in accordance with state licensure and facility protocols. Provide primary, urgent, and chronic care management, including prescribing medications and ordering diagnostic tests within a correctional healthcare environment. Utilize evidence-based practices and maintain accurate documentation in electronic medical records (EMR), ensuring compliance with HIPAA and institutional policies.
