Title
Emergency Department Registered Nurse - Combined Adult/Pediatric

Schedule
Shift: Nights, 1900-0700
Weekend requirement: Every other weekend

Requirements
- Active RN license
- 2 years of Emergency Department experience required
- Trauma experience preferred
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, PALS, TNCC
- EPIC charting experience is required

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, including adults and pediatrics.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Perform trauma assessment and interventions for trauma patients.
- Monitor and manage patients in critical condition, including those requiring advanced cardiac support.
- Educate patients and families regarding health concerns and treatment plans.

Compliance / Notes
- Orientation: 24 hours
- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Background checks are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
- Return staff policy: 1 year
