The Wonderful Company is looking to add a dynamic Desktop Support Engineer II to our growing team! This person will be the front-line support in assisting with technical issues throughout our business including remote users. This position will be working 5 days a week onsite at our West Los Angeles, CA office. Job Description Install and troubleshoot software - antivirus, firewall, Anti-Spyware, etc... Information system hardware configuration and repair. Troubleshoot and repair broken or defective computer hardware ensuring the functionality of computers and computer related equipment throughout the organization Work with Vendors to perform repairs as needed. Computer moves, adds & changes. Operating systemreloads. Install and configure software for The Wonderful Company based on the information systems policies and procedures. Assist with network administration including new user setup and removal, active directory moves, adds & changes, windows general troubleshooting. Printer maintenance - moves, adds, changes, toner/ink supply management. Backup for general telephones including: Telephone new user setup & training. Telephone general troubleshooting. Coordinate with vendor for service / repair. Physical layer (wiring) connectivity. Primary point of contact for helpdesk calls. Secondary point of contact for chat support Qualifications A.A degreefrom Technical Trade School and 2 to 5 years of experience in related field or equivalent combination education and experience. A+ certification preferred. Working knowledge of Microsoft products - Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc. Experience with Oracle system a plus. Interpersonal skills. Must be able to interact and communicate with all levels of staff members in an effective manner, exhibiting tact, enthusiasm, and patience. Must be able to be sensitive to cultural and bilingual issues. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently and creatively even under pressure/time constraints. Pay Range: $30.00 - $33.00 an hour. Final compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
