Full-Time Pre-Operative/PACU Nurse
Full-time pre-operative/PACU nurse needed in Albuquerque, NM. The role involves caring for patients before, during, and after surgery, collaborating with surgical teams, and maintaining a sterile environment. The position offers competitive compensation and a sign-on bonus.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the pre-operative and PACU settings
Assess patients' conditions before surgery and monitor them during and after surgery
Collaborate with surgical teams and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Administer medications and assist with patient education and discharge planning
Maintain a safe and sterile environment for patients and staff
Qualifications:
Active RN license in New Mexico
BLS and ACLS certification required by start date
Minimum of 2 years recent experience in pre-op and PACU settings
