Skilled Laborers WantedShirley Contracting Company, LLC is accepting applications for Skilled Laborers to join our team.Qualifications:Work in outdoor environments in all seasonsBe comfortable working alongside heavy equipment and able to communicate with operators, workers and pedestriansBe comfortable working at heights and in confined spaces with safety equipment and trainingModerate to heavy lifting (more than 15 pounds), pushing, pulling, bending, twisting, reaching, kneeling, crawling, climbing and squatting on a regular basisWorking knowledge of hand and power toolsMust pass pre-employment physical/drug screeningResponsibilities:Perform flagging, traffic closures and relevant tasks as assignedClean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, clean up rubble and debris and remove waste materialsInstallation of erosion and sediment controls (i.e. silt fence, super silt fence, gutter buddies, etc.)Must be willing to perform manual labor related tasks to support projectsMust wear safety toe boots, long pants and four-inch sleeves on shirts. PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, class 3 vests and gloves) is required and will be providedWork on a variety of tasks within any given dayEnsure the company's health and safety culture, policies and requirements are metEstablish and maintain a positive working relationship with customers and co-workersJob Type: Full-Time, Year-RoundLocation: Various JobsitesWorking Hours: Start varies between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Overtime, nights and weekends may be required.Benefits: Competitive salary, Health, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401K with Company Match and Company Contribution, and Paid Time Off and Paid Holidays.For this role the base hourly range is $17.00-$25.00 per hour. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's education, experience, skills, and geographic location.
