Job Title: IT Software Sourcing Leader (Strategic Sourcing | SaaS | Cloud)
Job Description
Join our healthcare client as an IT Software Sourcing Leader and drive high-impact sourcing initiatives across enterprise software, SaaS, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
This is a hands-on strategic role responsible for leading end-to-end sourcing engagements, vendor negotiations, and cost optimization strategies across the IT Software category.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing initiatives (RFP/RFQ/RFx) for software, SaaS, and cloud services
- Develop and execute category strategies for IT Software sourcing
- Negotiate software licensing agreements , including SaaS, enterprise agreements (EA), and support contracts
- Partner with IT, Finance, Legal, and business stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with organizational goals
- Conduct market analysis, supplier evaluation, and benchmarking
- Perform Total Cost of Ownership (TCO)and spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities
- Manage vendor relationships , performance reviews, and risk mitigation strategies
- Drive cost optimization initiatives , including cloud spend (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Ensure compliance with procurement policies, contracts, and regulatory requirements
Required Qualifications
- 5–10+ years of experience in IT Strategic Sourcing / Technology Procurement
- Strong experience sourcing software, SaaS, and/or cloud platforms
- Proven experience leading RFPs, vendor negotiations, and contract management
- Knowledge of software licensing models (SaaS, subscription, enterprise agreements)
- Experience with stakeholder management across IT, Finance, and Legal
- Strong analytical skills (spend analysis, TCO, cost modeling)
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in healthcare or regulated environments
- Exposure to cloud cost management tools (AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, etc.)
- Certifications such as CPSM, C.P.M., or equivalent
