Role Summary Pay Range: $50.14 – $70.35. The Clinic Manager is a dynamic leader responsible for overseeing and optimizing all daily operations of the clinic to ensure high-quality patient care and operational excellence. Background SEARHC is a non-profit health consortium serving residents of Southeast Alaska. Key Responsibilities Leadership and Staff Management – Leads administrative and clinical staff, develops policies and procedures, facilitates team meetings, mentors staff, and identifies training needs. Operational Oversight – Oversees daily clinic operations, schedule accuracy, capacity management, staffing levels, patient access, and visit volume targets while ensuring compliance with operational guidelines and provider contractual obligations. Patient and Community Engagement – Acts as liaison between staff, leadership and patients; incorporates patient feedback into clinic policies; oversees Patient Care Coordinators to ensure outreach, referral management, and compliance with primary care referral processes. Strategic & Financial Management – Collaborates with Medical Lead and Director of Primary Care to integrate clinical feedback into healthcare planning; aligns operations with SEARHC’s Strategic Plan, KPIs, and regulatory standards (e.g., HRSA, DNV); leads quality improvement initiatives; assists in developing and managing the annual clinic budget and optimizes personnel and financial resources. Other Duties – Performs additional responsibilities as assigned to support clinic and organizational objectives. Supervisory Responsibilities – Provides direct supervision to Patient Care Coordinators and indirect oversight of clinical and administrative staff; conducts performance evaluations, fosters professional development, and ensures accountability for delivering high-quality patient care and operational efficiency. Qualifications Education – Bachelor’s degree in health care administration, public health, nursing, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred. Certification through the Medical Group Management Association or a similar organization is preferred. Experience – Minimum of 5 years in clinic management or health care administration, including supervision of professional staff and some financial management. Knowledge & Skills – In-depth knowledge of clinic practice management, scheduling, patient flow, revenue cycle, facilities, quality and accreditation (CMS, HIPAA, DNV), liability and risk management, EHR systems; strong oral and written communication; interpersonal and cultural sensitivity; decision-making, conflict resolution, recruiting and retention; proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Other – Travel required between clinics and potential training travel.
