Number of Beds: 36
Patient Ratios: 1:4 / 1:5
Unit staffing description: secretary every day, PRN techs
Type of equipment: PD Cyclers, Basic equipment - Welch Allyn VS Carts, Hoyer Lift, Broda Chairs, Alaris IV Pumps
Documentation system: Meditech
Scheduling requirements: 4 weekend shifts in a 4-week block
Floating policy: Will float over core staff
Patient Experience requirements: Bedside shift report, safety checks q1-2h, focus on communication and responsiveness
Must have: Hospital Specifics-
Certifications: BLS, NIHSS

Hiring Profile

Requested Skill Set:

Able to perform basic patient assessments
General care and maintenance of the following: Wounds, Tracheostomy, Ostomy, Drains, Chest Tubes, Strokes, Seizures
Patient population has at times will require dialysis or PCA pumps
Only drip is Heparin
Post-Op procedures on unit: Amputations, ostomy, drains, chest tubes, oral surgeries and wound vacs
