Role Overview STS Technical Services is hiring Aircraft Inspectors in Peru, Indiana. The role suits A&P-certified professionals with extensive aircraft maintenance and inspection experience who are ready to ensure the highest levels of safety and compliance. Key Responsibilities Update computer maintenance tracking programs with current information on a regular basis and generate maintenance due lists Perform duties delegated by the Chief Inspector Maintain and oversee maintenance records for all aircraft on property Review work packages for accuracy and completeness of paperwork After the crew completes work, inspect it in cooperation with the Chief Inspector to ensure it is finished and of the best possible quality Stay familiar with all current FAA specifications, airworthiness directives, manufacturer instructions, bulletins, technical data and other approved data applicable to the unit being inspected Ensure all parts rejected or found unserviceable are properly marked and tagged Properly execute the malfunction and defect report, FAA Form 8010-4, as necessary Requirements Familiarity with the parameters and standards established in Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 43, 65, 91, 121 and 135 Licences & Qualifications Required: Mechanic's Certificate with Airframe and Powerplant ratings, meeting the requirements of 14 CFR Part 65.83 Experience Verifiable aircraft maintenance employment within the last 2 years Minimum of 5 years of commercial or regional aircraft experience Additional Information STS Technical Services places talented individuals with client operations across the United States and is available to help candidates looking for work.

Requirements

• Perform duties delegated by the Chief Inspector
• Maintain and oversee maintenance records for all aircraft on property
• Review work packages for accuracy and completeness of paperwork
• After the crew completes work, inspect it in cooperation with the Chief Inspector to ensure it is finished and of the best possible quality
• Stay familiar with all current FAA specifications, airworthiness directives, manufacturer instructions, bulletins, technical data and other approved data applicable to the unit being inspected
• Ensure all parts rejected or found unserviceable are properly marked and tagged
• Properly execute the malfunction and defect report, FAA Form 8010-4, as necessary
• Familiarity with the parameters and standards established in Federal Aviation Regulations Parts 43, 65, 91, 121 and 135
