Communications InternWe are seeking a motivated Communications Intern to support a dynamic team. This internship provides valuable exposure to strategic communications in a fast-paced healthcare environment while making a meaningful impact on patients and families. This role offers hands-on experience across both internal and external communications, with opportunities to contribute to meaningful storytelling that highlights patient care, clinical excellence and community impact.Key Responsibilities:Assist in drafting and editing content for internal newsletters, staff communications and leadership messagesSupport internal communications content development, messaging, and channel supportSupport external communications efforts, including blog posts, media materials and website updatesContribute to social media planning, content creation, and performance tracking across platformsHelp coordinate campaigns, events and awareness initiativesConduct research and compile insights to support communications strategiesQualifications:Currently pursuing a degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related fieldStrong writing, editing and organizational skillsFamiliarity with social media platforms and digital content trendsDetail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projectsInterest in healthcare, storytelling and mission-driven workSince 1954, Texas Children's has been leading the charge in patient care, education and research to accelerate health care for children and women around the world.
