Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Required Certifications: CPI, CPR Must-Have: Behavioral Health Experience Description: The unit has 28 beds. Staffing varies from shift to shift. During day shift, there is 1 charge RN, 2 RNs, and 2 mental health technicians. During night shift, there is 1 charge RN, 1 RN, and 2 mental health technicians. Patient ratios vary between 7 to 10. Equipment includes oxygen and Dinamap. The electronic medical record system used is Meditech. Typical procedures on this unit include behavioral health assessments, medication management, admissions, and discharges. Candidates must be team players.
