Role Description The Welder role at Bentley Pontoons is a full-time, on-site position located in Milford, IN. This role is responsible for welding and fabricating metal components used in pontoon boat production, following blueprints, technical drawings, and safety standards. Day-to-day tasks include performing various welding processes on aluminum and steel parts, setting up and maintaining welding equipment, and inspecting welds to ensure structural integrity and quality. The welder will work closely with production team members, contribute to continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, and help maintain a clean, safe work environment. Qualifications Proficiency in Welding and Arc Welding techniques for manufacturing and fabrication. Hands-on experience with MIG Welding for production environments and boat components. Hands-on experience with TIG Welding for precision work and thinner materials. Basic understanding of Materials, including aluminum and steel properties and handling. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and welding symbols. Strong attention to detail, quality focus, and commitment to workplace safety practices. Previous experience in industrial or marine manufacturing environments is beneficial.
