Location: New Berlin, WI | 1st Shift: Monday - Friday, 7AM - 3:30PM

Starting Pay: $20.00–$21.50/hour

Full-Time | Detail-Oriented | Hands-On Role

Job Responsibilities

As a saw operator, you will play a key role in fulfilling the needs of our customers. Some main responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Running a saw daily, cutting rods to specifications to create fastening solutions
• Ensuring parts are machined to customer specifications
• Operating the machine independently while inspecting product quality, measuring and adjusting parts, sharpening tools, and retrieving/handling rods for cutting
• Occasional scissors lifting to retain rod, making sure to follow safety standards

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in manual, hands-on mechanical and machining skills
• Prefer experience with scissors lifts or high comfort-level being trained
• Attention to detail and quality - meeting specs consistently
• Comfortable handling material and loading machines
• Workload at machines has some seasonality to it, so willingness to work in any area of production and take on any task needed
• Comfort and ability to work on computers – entering and retrieving information
• Ability to safely climb step ladders while carrying heavy product
• Ability to lift 50 pounds regularly
