Senior Director OF Sales

Responsibilities Responsible for driving, developing, and implementing the overall sales strategies and sales efforts for a designated group or business unit. Accountable for executing the business plan and revenue costs for the sales division. Direct and manage the overall sales effort and sales productivity of specific regions, including revenue, profitability, and market share goals. Direct the execution of strategic and tactical sales goals and plans. Review and approve sales productivity reports for groups. Develop, implement, and champion sales initiatives and programs to foster an overall competitive business advantage. Motivate and retain a qualified sales team. Develop and implement systems to emphasize progressive sales skills in sales reps. Drive aggressive growth sales strategies, including creation of successful partnerships and account planning. Institute disciplines of future account planning and new account development, focusing on both new environments and captured accounts. Qualifications 12+ years of experience in a related field. Ability to navigate through complex organizational structures, systems, and processes. Ability to handle complex sales situations and build business alliances and relationships. Ability to formulate and manage business and sales strategy. Advanced contract management skills and experience. Extensive computer distribution industry knowledge and experience. Solid understanding of Sales Operations.
