Job Description
The Director of Child Care is responsible for overseeing the operational and administrative functions of the child care program, ensuring high standards of care and education. This role manages staff, maintains compliance with regulations, and fosters positive communication with parents while developing a safe and nurturing environment for children.
Responsibilities
- Oversee daily program operations and curriculum planning
- Supervise and train child care staff to maintain quality standards
- Monitor compliance with licensing and safety regulations
- Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding child development and program updates
- Develop and enforce policies to ensure a safe and healthy facility
- Coordinate facility management and maintenance activities
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in child care management
