Senior Software Engineer
Location: San Mateo, California (Onsite at least 3 days/week – Look for local candidates) Client: Luminai Salary: $170,000 – $250,000 USD
Company Overview: Luminai is an AI-first technology company automating complex, mission-critical workflows for leading organizations in Healthcare, Finance, and Telecommunications. Role Overview: We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help design, build, and improve user-facing applications and core systems. The ideal candidate will drive product development across the stack, working closely with product and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead large application development projects (planning, design, implementation)
- Improve Luminai’s tooling, contributing across both frontend and backend
- Collaborate on product direction and system improvements
- Write clean, scalable, and maintainable code
- Participate in code reviews and champion engineering best practices
- Contribute to robust API, authentication, and middleware solutions
Required Skills:
- JavaScript/TypeScript
- React
- Python
- Backend development experience
- Frontend development experience
Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of relevant experience
- Master’s Degree (minimum)
- Strong track record of shipping high-quality products
- Passion for scalable, maintainable frontend and backend systems
- Preference for full-stack development (but open to front-end or back-end leaning)
Compensation & Benefits:
- Base Salary: $170,000 – $250,000 USD
