Job Description
Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) to join our team. This position involves working 12-hour night shifts with a total of 36 hours scheduled per week. The role requires commitment to every other weekend and holiday as needed. Please note that no on-call duties are required for this position.

Job Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy services to patients as prescribed by medical staff.
Perform assessments and monitor patient responses to therapy.
Administer medications and treatments as ordered, ensuring compliance with protocols and regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
Participate in patient education and advocate for best practices in respiratory care.
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records.

Qualifications

A minimum of 3 years of current experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT).
Experience with Meditech Expanse is highly preferred.
Current certifications in ACLS and PALS are preferred.
Must possess a valid Massachusetts RRT license and an active NBRC credential.
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association is required.
Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment.
Requested time off during the assignment must be noted at the time of application; a maximum of 5 days is allowed.
Available to work major holidays and weekends as required.

Orientation and Training

New hires will be required to complete an 8-hour non-billable orientation prior to starting their shifts.
