Job Description

Emergency Medicine Physician – Sampson Regional Medical Center | Clinton, NC

Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a BC/BE Emergency Medicine Physician (ABEM/AOBEM or FM with ED experience) to join our hospital-based Emergency Department.

Practice in an independent, physician-led hospital with strong PA support, predictable scheduling, and hard sign-out at the end of every shift .

Approximately 32,000 annual ED visits (~90–100/day)
Average ESI 3–4
22-bed ED
Hospitalist and 24/7 radiology coverage
Air and ground transport for high-acuity transfers
On-site General Surgery, OB/GYN, Orthopedics, Primary Care, and Urology
Clinical autonomy within an independent community hospital

Flexibility in Where You Live

Relocation to Clinton is not required.

With a 12-shift-per-month schedule, physicians may choose to live in Clinton, the Raleigh area, communities between Raleigh and Clinton, or toward Wilmington/Fayetteville, depending on preferred lifestyle and commute.
