Insurance Agent

Responsibilities

• Provide personalized insurance quotes and coverage recommendations.
• Convert insurance quotes into bound policies.
• Manage and service existing personal lines insurance accounts.
• Assist clients with policy changes, billing questions, and claims reporting.
• Review policies for accuracy and identify coverage needs.
• Clearly explain insurance coverage options and recommendations to clients.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships.
• Document client communications and interactions in the agency management system.
• Maintain accurate and organized client and policy records.
• Deliver prompt, professional, friendly, and customer-focused service.
• Follow up with clients regarding quotes, policy updates, and service requests.
• Collaborate with team members to support client needs and maintain service standards.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty insurance license required prior to the start date.
• Licensing assistance may be available.
• Personal lines insurance experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-through abilities.
• Ability to learn and utilize agency management systems.
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to explain insurance products, coverage options, and recommendations clearly.
• Strong relationship-building and client service abilities.
• Dependable, organized, and capable of working effectively in a professional team environment.
