The position allows for exposure to multiple engineering disciplines including roadway design, structural design, drainage design, traffic engineering, and transportation planning. Responsibilities Developing and evaluating engineering solutions Preparing design calculations, quantities, cost estimates, and drawings Assisting with various studies and documenting results Adherence to assigned project schedules and budgets Writing internal communications Performing other duties as assigned Required Skills & Required Experience Pursuing B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering (with emphasis in transportation) required Solid oral and written communication skills Experience using CADD (Microstation or AutoCAD) preferred Desire to work in a team environment Don't meet every single requirement? Program Information Summer Intern Program During the summer intern program, interns gain hands-on project experience, develop technical skills, and put their classroom knowledge into action. Our interns are assigned meaningful work and are given the opportunity to work on projects similar to what they would be engaging with as a full-time employee.
