Financial Systems Analyst
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-12. If you are selected at a lower grade level, you will have the opportunity to learn to perform all these duties and will receive training to help you grow in this position. As a Financial Systems Analyst you will:
- Be responsible for financial and technical analysis, conducting special projects, and working with automated systems in the office.
- Work on a variety of tasks as a team member and performs a wide range of complex analytical activities using automated programs.
- Perform studies and reviews the potential impact of proposed financing and regulation changes on Fiscal Service and FRB systems and operations.
- Develop and maintain relationships with audit, compliance, and other staff at Fiscal Service, Treasury, FRS, and market participants. Providing training to internal staff and customers.
- Work closely with other staff members in a team environment to accomplish debt financing initiatives and support functions.
- Develop and maintain procedures and checklists and makes recommendations to management for improvements to ensure they are easy to follow in an operational environment that demands 100% accuracy.
