Schedule

Day shifts: 7:00 AM 8:00 PM

Night shifts: 8:00 PM 7:00 AM

Multiple openings available from August through November, with ongoing monthly coverage beyond.

Must be able to cover at least one block of shifts each month.

Practice Highlights

Practice autonomously in a supportive ICU environment Average daily census: 13 patients (range 120) Manage critically ill adult patients Ventilator management with respiratory therapy support Admit ICU patients from the ED, hospital floors, and surrounding hospitals Perform: Central venous lines (CVLs) Arterial lines Hemodialysis catheters Discuss goals of care and provide family updates during critical situations

Candidate Requirements

Board certified nurse practitioner Active Virginia license Active DEA BLS & ACLS certifications Critical care experience required Ability to cover scheduled shifts every month Clean background required for temporary privileges
