About the Role
The Company is seeking a Senior Vice President for Mission Impact and Advancement to lead the strategic and operational aspects of its mission portfolio. This executive will be responsible for the end-to-end mission strategy, including the development and scaling of workforce development and credential programs, and the establishment of strong employer pathways. The role demands a leader with a proven track record in building and scaling financially sustainable initiatives, strong business and financial acumen, and the ability to secure and manage diversified funding. The SVP will also have a key role in the strategic oversight of the organization's high school for adults and will be expected to engage with various stakeholders to ensure the success and growth of the mission programs. Candidates for this position should have at least 10 years' of progressive leadership experience in mission-driven organizations, with a focus on workforce development, education, or related fields. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of federal, state, and local workforce funding, and experience in braiding funding streams to support program priorities. Strong leadership skills are essential, as the SVP will be expected to lead high-performing teams, build cross-functional alignment, and operate with a builder and general-manager mindset. The role requires excellent communication, stakeholder management, and the ability to adapt to a changing environment while inspiring and leading a team. High ethical standards, sound judgment, and a commitment to the values of the organization are also key attributes for the successful candidate.
