The Regional Driver Position: Position: Regional Class A CDL Flatbed Driver (Company W2) Freight: Primarily flatbed, 50% drop & hook / 50% live load‑unload. Typical Weekly Miles: 2,500–3,000 Home Time: Guaranteed home every weekend Terminals/Primary Lanes: Southeast and surrounding regional markets. What You’ll Earn: Average weekly pay: around $1,300–$1,500, with a guaranteed weekly minimum for regional drivers. New drivers can earn $80,000+ in their first year with performance‑based pay schedules. Mileage pay that increases with tenure and experience, plus safety and performance incentives. Additional pay for short‑haul loads under 100 miles, detention, and layover when applicable. Paid holidays and paid vacation after your first year, with weeks added as your tenure grows. Optional legal coverage and reimbursement for certain credentialing costs like TWIC fees. At least 24 months of recent tractor‑trailer experience (flatbed training available for the right driver). Generally clean MVR: no more than two moving violations in the last three years. Strong safety record and professional attitude. Willingness to handle tarping (more frequent in winter than in summer).
