Job Duties Perform warehouse functions, which may include loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting Perform duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract Responsible for the accurate picking and packing, auditing, tote induction, staging of products, and loading and unloading of trucks Responsible for dealing with day-to-day paperwork in a warehouse environment Provide technical and maintenance support for different aspects related to the automated packing system during the core shift hour of production Candidate must have basic level knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice requirements, if applicable to site Performing duties within performance measurement guidelines of the contract Education Requirements High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial. Experience Requirements Experience moving, organizing, loading, or unloading materials in warehouse or manufacturing environments. Ability to accurately identify products, labels, inventory locations, and shipping documentation. Knowledge of safe material handling practices and workplace safety procedures. Ability to operate pallet jacks or other material handling equipment as required. Strong attention to detail, organization, and dependable work habits. 6 months or more of Reach Truck/ Cherry Picker/ Standup forklift experience Preferred Qualifications Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred. Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is beneficial. Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset. Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Material Handler. Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift. Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds. Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment. Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.
