Overview Career Connection Network has a great opportunity for mechanically inclined and detail-oriented printing inspectors to join our manufacturing client\'s team. See details below and apply today. Our client offers: A family owned and operated, supportive, and innovative environment; Temporary to hire openings paying $17/hr. with a $3/hr. increase once training is complete and hired on; Must be able to train on 1st shift: 7:00am – 3:30pm, then move to 2nd or 3rd shift once training is complete; 2nd shift: 3:00pm – 11:30pm, 3rd shift: 11:00pm – 7:30am; Must be able to work overtime when needed to complete tasks that are time sensitive and schedule driven; Job Description: After the printing of labels is completed, the finishing department is responsible for inspecting, slitting, rewinding, and finishing all converted products. Responsibilities Remove waste and convert all press rolls into finished end user product according to customer specifications; Inspection for quality and conformance of all converted products; Follow all customer requirements and quality notes; Basic care and maintenance of slitter/label rewinder equipment; Proper core labeling of all finished goods; Transport finished goods to shipping department; Maintain and record proper sign-offs; Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements and Skills No experience necessary; internal training is available for this position; High school diploma or equivalent education or experience; Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. unassisted; Must be able to stand / walk throughout an eight-hour period; The work environment is on-your-feet, fast-paced, high-traffic environment; Must be able to work cooperatively with others and as a team; Communication Skills Additional Qualifications Proofreading Skills Must have some mechanical ability Basic Math and Computer skills Time Management Must be neat and organized Please note, upon offer of employment various pre-employment screenings will be required. #J-18808-Ljbffr Career Connection Network
