Registered Nurse - Med-Surg Tele
This is a 13-week contract position.
Shift: 3A-3P; 1-2 days per week.
We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Med-Surg Tele unit. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment and effectively optimize post-surgical patient care per surgeon preference. This position offers an excellent team atmosphere and utilizes established order sets and protocols.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for post-surgical patients in a telemetry unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as per protocols.
- Monitor patient conditions and communicate with medical staff.
- Participate in patient education and discharge planning.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:
- Current RN licensure in Indiana.
- ACLS and BLS certifications.
- 1-2 years of Med-Surg/Tele experience preferred.
- Experience with Cerner EMR preferred but not required.
