Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse Position

Location: Cleveland, OH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Night shifts: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM; Day shifts: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM (Rotating shifts with potential variability as needed).

Job Description: The Med/Surg Tele Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care, including the potential to float to various units. The position requires clinical expertise in Medical/Surgical and Telemetry nursing, as well as a commitment to delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care based on established protocols and best practices.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, performing patient evaluations and interpreting ECG results.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement care plans.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation in the electronic medical record system.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• A minimum of 18 months combined permanent Med/Surg Tele nursing experience required.
• Must have an active Permanent Ohio RN license or a Compact State license.
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS must be current and maintained.
• Two professional references from a managerial role in the nursing field are required for submission.
