The outpatient surgery center features dedicated admit recovery and post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) services. With four operating rooms, the facility provides a range of surgical services, including orthopedic procedures, as well as breast, gynecology, plastics, ENT, urology, ophthalmology, and pediatrics.Operating hours are primarily Monday to Friday from 6am to 3pm, with no night or weekend shifts, though occasional variations in hours may occur.The Surgical Technologist ensures that the operating room is properly prepared with the necessary instruments and equipment and assists the surgical team throughout the procedure by passing instruments, maintaining the sterile field, and anticipating the needs of the surgeon. The role involves maintaining patient safety and ensuring that the surgical environment is organized, clean, and sterile. The Surgical Technologist assists in applying dressings, securing surgical drapes and transferring patients to recovery areas. Adheres to infection control protocols and sterile techniques to prevent contamination and ensure patient safety.
