Member Service Representative

Position Member Services Representative – Yucaipa, CA Pay: $16.90 - $17.50 per hour. Responsibilities Greet members, prospective members, and guests, providing exceptional customer service. Handle all front desk related activities, including answering phones, checking members into the system, touring prospective members, and signing up new members by calculating rates and monthly payment amounts. Assist the Club Manager in counting the drawer as needed. Facilitate updates to member accounts. Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner, escalating to Assistant Manager or Club Manager when necessary. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and neatness of the club, completing daily assigned tasks within the first hour of shift, touring priority cleaning list each day, conducting walk‑around and bathroom checks, and helping with special cleaning projects as required. Perform other duties and responsibilities based on club needs. Qualifications Must be 18 years of age or older. High School diploma or GED equivalent. Customer service background preferred. Basic computer proficiency. Punctuality and reliability required. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Positive, upbeat attitude and passion for fitness and health. Exceptional customer service skills with ability to interact professionally with members and co‑workers, exceeding member expectations. Strong listening skills with empathy and problem‑solving ability. Diplomacy in all interactions, using appropriate behavior and language. Physical Demands Continual standing and walking during shift. Continual talking in person or on the phone during shift. Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs. Occasional exposure to toxic chemicals during shift.
