Low Voltage Technician (EL06)

$35–$45/hr DOE + Daily Per Diem for Travel

What You’ll Do

You’ll play a key role in building, servicing, and

maintaining low‑voltage infrastructure across a variety of customer

environments. Your work will directly support mission‑critical operations in

data centers, warehouses, manufacturing facilities, retail sites, and more.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Installing and servicing copper and fiber cabling infrastructure, including pathways, J‑hooks, cable tray/ladder rack, and routing
• Terminating and dressing work area outlets, patch panels, blocks, and closet terminations
• Building out telecom/data closets with backboards, racks, patch panels, and associated hardware
• Performing testing and troubleshooting to identify opens, shorts, crosses, continuity issues, and tone/trace results
• Maintaining accurate documentation, tickets, and work logs while adhering to site security and badging requirements
• Conducting routine and corrective maintenance across diverse customer site types
• Communicating clearly with customers and maintaining a polished, professional presence
• Supporting material staging, inventory, asset tracking, and keeping work areas clean and organized

Top qualifications include:

• Active Washington 06 Low Voltage Certification (strong preference for candidates who also hold Oregon LEA or LEB)
• Hands‑on experience with low‑voltage maintenance, service, and/or cabling infrastructure installation (cable pulling, rough‑in)
• Skilled in testing and troubleshooting structured cabling using proper tools and methods
• Proficiency with test tools and basic hand tools
• Willingness to travel for short 2–3 day overnight assignments within Washington
• Clean driving record

Compensation & Travel

• $35–$45/hr+ DOE
• Daily per diem provided for overnight travel
• Short‑term travel assignments (2–3 days at a time) within Washington

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR.

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $47.00/hr.
