About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiothoracic Operating Room (CVOR) Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required License: RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS required Must-Have: Must be able to circulate complex cardiac cases, thoracic, vascular, surgical oncology, colorectal, and bariatric cases. Description: Looking for a Registered Nurse specializing in Cardiothoracic Surgery. Shifts will be 3x12s from 6 PM to 6:30 AM, working Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. No on-call requirement. Holiday call may be required. Experience with CABG, TAVR, LVAD, Impella, Valve, and Heart & Lung Transplants is essential. First-timers accepted only with 5+ years of experience. A radiation badge will be provided by the agency. Local candidates will be considered on a case-by-case basis. All requests for time off must be provided at the time of submission. The facility may call off travelers for 1 shift per 2 weeks. Travelers should be aware that they may be assigned to emergency response teams during hurricane season, which runs from June through November. All labs must be completed within 72 hours of signing if within 90 days of the start date. Modules will be required prior to the start date. Candidates with pending licenses will be considered if proof of application is provided. All requirements must be fulfilled prior to starting.
