General Manager Requirements & Qualifications Minimum 5–10 years of upscale restaurant management experience, including senior leadership roles in a high-volume fine dining environment . Proven experience with steakhouse, chophouse, or upscale dining concepts. Demonstrated ability to manage all aspects of new restaurant openings. Experience leading teams of 100+ employees in restaurants with projected annual sales of $5M. Strong P&L management skills and success meeting financial targets. Availability to work a 6–7 day work week for the first three months after opening, transitioning to 6 days in peak season Willingness and ability to travel for initial training prior to restaurant opening. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required. General Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities Oversee all front‑and‑back‑of‑house operations to deliver exceptional guest experiences. Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team. Drive outstanding service and maintain luxury hospitality standards. Manage restaurant P&L, budgets, forecasting, and inventory to achieve growth and profitability. Partner closely with the culinary and beverage teams to ensure quality and consistency.
