We are hiring a full-time Med Surg RN to work night shifts in a busy, collaborative hospital unit that provides exceptional care across surgical specialties, including bariatrics, urology, thoracic, and oncology.

This is a great opportunity for nurses who enjoy a mix of complex patient care, teamwork, and professional growth within a supportive hospital setting.

What You'll Need:

• Graduate of an NLN-accredited School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state of New Jersey
• BLS certification required (American Heart Association)
• Advanced certifications such as ACLS or PALS may be required depending on unit needs
• Prior experience in medical-surgical or step-down/intermediate care preferred
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts (3 shifts per week)

What You'll Do:

• Deliver high-quality nursing care to patients recovering from surgery or requiring advanced medical treatment
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes using evidence-based interventions
• Administer medications, manage wounds, and perform critical assessments
• Collaborate with surgical teams, transitional care, and leadership for integrated care delivery
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and fellow healthcare professionals
• Participate in cross-training, staff education, and performance improvement initiatives
