We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Massage Therapist to join our wellness team! In this vital role, you will provide therapeutic massage services that promote relaxation, pain relief, and overall well-being for our diverse clientele. Your expertise will help clients achieve optimal health, manage stress, and recover from physical discomfort. As a Massage Therapist, you will also educate clients on self-care techniques and collaborate with other health professionals to deliver comprehensive care. Duties
• Perform professional massage therapy sessions utilizing various techniques such as Swedish, deep tissue, sports, and Shiatsu services to address individual client needs.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments including intake interviews to understand medical history, current symptoms, and treatment goals.
• Educate clients on self-care practices, including postpartum care, nutrition guidance, and relaxation techniques.
• Provide exceptional patient service by communicating clearly about treatment plans, addressing concerns, and fostering a welcoming environment.
Experience
• Proven experience as a licensed Massage Therapist with a strong understanding of anatomy and physiology.
• Familiarity with medical terminology, how it applies to your job duties, and for individual client needs.
• Experience working with diverse patient populations including postpartum women, families, or individuals requiring specialized care.
• Excellent client communication skills with the ability to assess needs accurately and deliver compassionate care.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
