Tycol Excavating and Property Services is seeking a skilled and reliable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our growing team. This role involves operating various types of heavy machinery to support excavation, grading, and site development projects. We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, prioritize safety, and have strong equipment operating experience.

Responsibilities

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, and other machinery safely and efficiently

Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation work

Load, unload, and transport equipment to and from job sites

Conduct routine equipment inspections and basic maintenance

Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines

Work closely with crew members to complete projects on time and to spec

Maintain a clean and organized job site

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in excavation or operating heavy equipment OR strong, proven background in equipment operation

Valid driver’s license (required)

Ability to load, secure, and tow equipment

CDL preferred but not required

Strong understanding of job site safety practices

Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions

Dependable, hardworking, and team-oriented
