Shift: Nights | Fri-Sun | 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week

Job Summary


We are seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join a high-volume imaging department at Northside Hospital Atlanta. The ideal candidate will be confident working independently and experienced in handling inpatient MRI studies in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures in accordance with physician orders and safety standards
• Provide imaging support for inpatient cases
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and proper positioning
• Operate MRI equipment and maintain image quality
• Accurately document procedures using Cerner EMR
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams
• Maintain compliance with hospital protocols and safety guidelines

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience (recent, within specialty)
• ARRT (MRI) Certification - Required
• BLS Certification - Required
• Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
• Ability to work independently in a busy hospital setting
• Strong attention to detail and patient care skills

Assignment Details

• Duration: 13 weeks
• Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday (7p-7:30a)
• No On-Call Required
• Travel Candidates Only (No local candidates within 50 miles)

Overtime & Pay Structure

• Daily OT after 24 hours (based on multiplier)
• Weekly OT after 40 hours (based on multiplier)
• Rate Negotiable
