Shipping Clerk/Operator 1st Shift

The role of Shipping will support daily shipping, order processing, and warehouse operations.
Responsibilities include picking, packing, labeling, preparing shipping documentation, and coordinating with
both drivers and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely shipments. This role requires strong
organizational skills, attention to detail, dependability, and the ability to work independently after training.
Responsibilities:
• Pick, pack, label, and stage customer orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare shipping documentation, including Bills of Lading, shipping labels, and invoices
• Safely handle Pallet Jacks and move materials such as pallets, crates, racks, and boxes
• Follow established shipping procedures to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate with drivers, warehouse staff, and cross-functional teams to support timely shipments
• Use computers for shipping and inventory tasks, including basic Excel functions
• Utilize SAP (training provided for candidates willing to learn)
• Prioritize and manage urgent shipments in a fast-paced environment
• Communicate clearly and follow instructions with strong attention to detail
• Maintain reliable attendance and flexibility for overtime, weekend, or extended shifts when required
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field preferred, preferably in manufacturing or electronics
environments
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to read and interpret inventory documentation
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills
• Basic math proficiency and ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• Understanding of ESD (electrostatic discharge) safety procedures is preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull materials, and stand for extended periods of time
